Notes: All individuals listed finished the race without being disqualified.  There were no disqualifications among the either the women or men.
An anonymous donor provided prize money for the top three age-graded race walkers.  They were: 
    First Place to Jack Bray ($1,000), Second Place to Mark Green ($500); and Third Place to Ted Moore ($250).
    Seven individuals age graded better than 80%.
Pending approvals, it appears that Jack Bray broke the American record for Age 70-74, and 
   that Norm Frable broke the American record for Age 60-64.
Race conditions: Elevation = 4540 feet (1384 meters) above sea level.  
    Temperature ~68F (20C) at start of the women's race (7:15 a.m.); ~72F (22C) at start of men's race (8:10 a.m.).
    Winds were calm for both races.  There was no smoke in the air from wildfires that had been burning nearby in recent days.
