International Throws Conference

My name is Derek Evely and I am the sport science manager at the Canadian Athletics Coaching Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. We are a coaching education centre for track and field coaches set up from the legacy of the 2001 IAAF World Championships in Athletics. We are hosting a major throws conference in September (29th / 30th) of this year and I am sending you the information on the conference so that you can distribute to your coaches or post on your website if you feel it would be a worthwhile opportunity for them. We are presenting three of the top throws coaches in history (Germany’s Dr. Ekkart Arbeit, Russia’s Dr. Anatoly Bondarchuk and Finland’s Kari Ihalainen) as well as Don Babbitt, the top coach in the US. The conference is being held in Windsor, Ontario, which is across the river from Detroit and is very easily accessible for US coaches.
