All individuals listed finished the race without being disqualified.  There was one disqualification among the women.
Anonymous donors provided prize money for the fastest woman ($100), fastest man ($100), and the top three age-graded race walkers, 
   ($100 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third place).
Pending approvals, it appears that Jack Bray set the American record for Men Age 75-79, and that 
    Louise Walters broke the American record for Women Age 65-69.
Race Conditions: Elevation = 4540 feet (1384 meters) above sea level.
   Temperature ~74F (23C) at the start of the women's race (7:15 a.m.) and ~78F (26C) at the start of the men's race (8:10 a.m.).
   Winds were calm for both races.    
   There was no smoke in the air from wildfires that had been burning in California previously in the summer.
