Grace Upshaw, 32, a Berkeley native, has relocated back to Northern California (Los Altos Hills) from Southern 
California. Upshaw is a 2004 Olympian and a four-time U.S. National Champion in the long jump.  Recently, she has 
been coached by men's long jump world record holder Mike Powell, the jumps coach at UCLA.

Upshaw has qualified for the 2008 U.S. Olympic Track & Field Trials.  Under the guidance of Edrick Floreal, 
Stanford University's Director of Track & Field, Upshaw will pursue a berth on the 2008 USA Olympic team.  
Floreal assisted Upshaw in her athletic development from 2000-2004.
