To: Board of Athletics Members
Several years ago the Board of Athletics agreed that a service award was in keeping with the goals and purposes of this organization. As such, it is that time of the year to nominate Pacific Association members and staff for their contributions to the sport and/or to the organization. This award, however, does not recognize athletic achievement; that is a different category altogether. Previous recipients of the Service Award are, as follows: Ron Daniel, George Kleeman, John Mansoor, and Charlie Sheppard, Irene Herman, Joanne Camargo, Cynci Calvin, Bob Podkaminer, and Tyler Abbot. If any of the members of the Board have nominees, please let me know ASAP. And include at least two or three sentences concerning their qualifications for the Service Award. Many thanks for any input and for your continuing involvement and support of our sport.
