Livescan ID Badges

 
Missing your LiveScan picture ID?  Send a digital photo (head shot only) of all the coaches and parent volunteers associated with your club to Charlie Sheppard at [email protected] and he will create your 2008 LiveScan badge.  
 
These badges are recreated each calendar year after you have renewed your USATF membership and passed the LiveScan.
 
If you did not renew your 2008 USATF membership before April 1, 2008 then your pre-existing LiveScan clearance was revoked by the Department of Justice.  This was communicated through multiple formats on the PA website as well as via e-mail.  After April 1, 2008 you must renew AT YOUR OWN COST your LiveScan background check before you can continue to coach a USATF youth club.  Get this taken care of before the PAC and JO meets in June.  Coaches who are not validated LiveScan coaches cannot register their clubs for the championship meets, pick up club packets or attend coach's meetings.
 
PA/USATF has been notified that for 2009 all coaches and parent volunteers must renew their 2009 USATF membership by February 1, 2009 or they will be dropped from the LiveScan clearance.  Don't procrastinate ... stay on top of your membership renewals so that you don't have to continually pay out of your own pocket for a LiveScan background check.
