Tuesday, June 30th was the first day of competition for the Youth Nationals at Rynearson Stadium - Eastern Michigan University - Ypsilanti, Michigan. The Pacific Association sent three racewalkers to compete and all three came home with a first place win. This was just a warm-up as they prepare for Junior Olympics.

Donna Roscoe, Napa TC continues to improve and be our top Bantam girl with a fine time of 9:06.85 to take her first place win.

Caitlin Palacio, 2-time defending Junior Olympic champion of LSI Sprint took home first place in the 1,500m race walk in the Midget Girl's division in 8:27.00.

During the Youth Girl's 3,000m race walk, last year’s reining champion Lila Haba smashed her competition and bettered her time from last year by over a minute finishing in 16:09.39.
