Junior Olympic Volunteer Update, 11/28/09

 
If you are volunteering in these roles:

• Course Monitor
• Course Walk Leader
• Course Bike Rider (lead & trail  cyclists)
  

We need you to report no later than 8:00 am on Sunday, November 29 for an overview of the course by the volunteers who created the course.

We are also short Course Monitors and Course Cyclists so anyone else who can help out would be appreciated!

Show up at 8:00 am and we'll plug you into a volunteer role.

• Course  Walk (lead the 2K, 3K, 4K, 5K walks at beginning of the meet)
  
  • 3K – Umoja (Blanca Fonseca)
  • 4K – Above the Grade (Steve Martin)
  • 5K – San Luis Distance Club (parent)
    
• Course  Monitors (assigned to tricky areas on the course to ensure athletes run on  the correct course)

• Bikers  (ride lead or trail bike for each race … suggestion is to have two teams of  two riders that alternate each race)
