Important Officials' Notice for LDR Clubs

January 5, 2012

All Pacific Association LDR Clubs:

Two IMPORTANT reminders:

REMINDER #1
All PA/USATF clubs who have not renewed their membership dues for 2012 should do so NOW. To renew go to:

www.pausatf.org/data/clubrenewal.html

REMINDER #2
PA/USATF clubs are required to have a minimum number of certified USATF officials (with an LDR/XC specialty) on their club roster to score team points on the PA Road and Cross Country Grand Prix circuits. This requirement applies if your club had 25 or more “unique” club members compete on the Road and Cross Country Grand Prix circuits (combined) in 2011. Applicable clubs must be in compliance with this requirement for officials by March 1, 2012 or they will not be scored until they do so. Go to the table on the next page to see if this requirement applies to your club and your current officials status.

Individuals may obtain USATF LDR Officials certification by attending one of two upcoming Beginning Long Distance Running Officials Clinics:

Saturday, January 21, 2012 at U.C. Davis (9:00 a.m.-noon)
Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Serra High School/San Mateo (10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.)

The clinic fee is $10 per individual and USATF rulebooks are included.

Registration is available on Active.com at the following link:
