Its no secret, our athletes have set the standard of academic and athletic excellence on the field of play, Its how we've come to expect no less of them. Therefore we should set the same standard of excellence in terms of how we operate and govern properly and effectively our Association with them and USATF. I believe to do this we must look to the people who make our sport run everyday- Volunteers, Officials, Coaches, Parents and Spectators, to help with a Vision, build a model of success that together will bring positive change. I want to be a part of that, a part of encouraging communities, thought leaders and those who have been too far removed, to join us, to see for themselves the services we provide to young people and the kind of work we do. So we must find ... with new people, new ways to get this job done ... today and as we move forward. This is where I stand!
