2013 PA YOUTH CROSS COUNTRY STARTS IN SEPTEMBER

We will be hosting eight (8) meets, between September 22 and November 17 before the region 14 Junior Olympic meet. A scoring system will be in place for each meet where athletes will earn points for finish places (1 - 10). At the Association Junior Olympic meet, the athletes who have scored the most in each of the age groups will be recognized before the course walk and presented a trophy. The athletes in each of the eight age groups who have scored the second, third, fourth and fifth most points will also be recognized and receive an award.

The Pacific Association Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships are on November 24 at Golden Gate Park around the Polo Fields in San Francisco where the top 25 individuals and the top 3 teams qualify to advance to the region 14 TBD by the Central Association. The top 20 individuals and 3 top teams qualify to advance to the National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships Saturday December 14 in San Antonio, Texas.

All athletes can compete in Cross Country even if your club does does not. This is legal and your athletes may compete with another club, give me a call and we can do this.
