CLUB REGISTRATION INFORMATION

  • Club dues remain $75.00 per club for the calendar year.
  • Please fill out the USATF online club application form completely and pay the $75 fee.
    • The club representatve applying for, or renewing, the club membership must have a current USATF membership number and a corresponding password for logging into the system.
    • You have the option to sign up and pay for more than one year.
    • You'll see that option on the form which allows you to lock in the current fee in the event there may be a fee increase in the future.
    • If you choose the multi-year option, you still must submit the form each year (without payment).
  • All clubs are required to be renewed by May 1st.
  • Clubs not renewed by May 1st will be assessed a $100 late fee.

REQUIRED FOR CLUBS NEEDING PRACTICE INSURANCE

  • Submission of Club Practice Insurance Form
  • The practice insurance certificate will cost $15.00 per certificate for the calendar year.
  • Club coach's resume
  • Schedule of practices (days/hours)
  • Criminal background check for all coaches/volunteers/parents who will be in a supervisory position on each club with athletes under the age of 19.
  • For those needing a background check please fill out the USATF membership form and return this with $30.00 membership fee.
  • If you signed up online please send us a list of your coaches who need to be checked.
  • For those who were checked for PA/USATF in previous years, you do NOT need to be checked again, but you MUST become a USATF member in order for your scan to remain current. State law requires us to drop any non-USATF member coaches from our lists to be checked.
  • If you do not renew your membership by March 1st, you will be required to undergo a new scan at your expense in order to be become to be eligible to coach again.
  • Note that for those needing the background check, your club will not be accepted and practice insurance will not be issued until the check is completed and you are cleared.
  • The process for background checks is as follows: You need to submit your club form with payment, and you and your coaches need to become USATF members. Once this is done, you will be sent a application for a Live Scan. The list of locations is posted on our website. In most cases, this will be your local police department. You need to take the Live Scan form in with you to be scanned. (Note that at some locations you may need to make a reservation in advance) You will be asked to pay for the scan which will be reimbursed to you when you send in your receipt to my office.
