Horace Crow was a pole-vault-officiating specialist working meets at every level from club through the  Olympics (1984).  He was active in governance under AAU, The Athletic Congress and USA Track and Field.  He has been inducted into the national officials committee hall of fame (2007) and the Pacific Association Hall of Fame (2008).
