March 30: May 31 is the deadline for coaches and parent volunteers to renew your 2009 USATF membership and retain LiveScan coverage. If you fail to renew your individual USATF membership before 12 midnight on Tuesday, May 31 your LiveScan from last year will not carry forward. All USATF membership renewals on April 1 forward will have to pay out of their own pocket to renew their LiveScan. Until the new LiveScan has been completed you are not to coach a USATF youth athlete. For more information about this process visit the PA website at http://www.pausatf.org/data/2009/ybckchks.html.
March 30: Please note, the Stockton Saints Meet on April 4, 2009 has NOT BEEN CANCELLED. The Stockton Stars Meet on April 11, 2009 has been CANCELLED.
March 17: Junior Olympic advancement information has been posted. Please read and familiarize yourself with the policies and procedures for 2009. This will help us avoid problems down the road!
March 17: Stockton Saints and Nor Cal swap meet dates!
In a gesture of "let's do it for the kids!" the Stockton Saints Track Club agreed to swap dates with Nor Cal Pacesetters. Nor Cal Pacesetters lost access to their facility on April 4 and Stockton Saints stepped up to help save a youth track & field meet from cancelling. Please ensure you adjust your schedules accordingly!

Feb. 15: Turbo Javelin (Mini Javelin) added as Sub-Bantam event: The Pacific Association is one of the few USATF associations that recognize this age group (youths born 2001 or later). In an effort to offer more grassroots training opportunities for Sub-Bantams the Youth BOA has decided to add the Turbo Javelin as a standard competition event in our regular spring season meets. By offering Turbo Javelin Sub-Bantams now have two field event options from which to choose.
