Sergio Reyes, the USATF 2022 Masters Road Runner of the Year in the Men’s 40-44 division, brought his 2022 fitness into 2023 with a dominate victory in the Carlsbad 5000 Masters race with a time of 14:48. Reyes, of Palmdale CA, finished 24 seconds ahead of last year’s winner, Roosevelt Cook of Hesperia, CA, who finished in a time of 15:12. Thomas Reiss in training for his 100K record This Saturday, April 1 2023, Pacific Association athlete, Thomas Reiss, finished 15th Men at the German Championships of 100 Kilometers Road, in 8:28:12. His time betters the current American M55-59 record for the distance which had been set 16 years ago by American Ultrarunning Hall of Fame Roy Pirrung at 8:39:35 at the IAU World Challenge in the Netherlands in 2007.
