► RR Jacob Nur and JoAnn Hall set pending age group ARs at NorCal
SRA Elite’s Jacob Nur began the 2022 racing season just as he ended the 2021 season, running very fast. Nur, who broke the M65-69 10K AR on Thanksgiving with a blazing 35:42 at Sacramento’s Run to Feed the Hungry 10K, set a pending 10 Mile AR with a 59:11 at Saturday’s NorCal John Frank Memorial 10-Mile. Nur’s time was under Brian Pilcher’s still fresh 59:42 M65-69 AR set on 10/30/2021 in Houston. Nur’s 59:11 age-grades to a jaw dropping 96.25% which is #2 on the all-time 10 Mile age grade list. read more► RR PA’s Jacob Nur dominates USATF Masters 5 km Championships
The SRA Elite’s Jacob Nur, 66, (Elk Grove) easily won his division and achieved the highest male age grade at the USATF Masters 5 km Championships hosted by the Atlanta Track Club in Atlanta GA on Saturday 2/26. Nur’s time of 17:43 (net) was good enough for an age grade of 94.49% and a 39 second victory over Ken Youngers (65) who ran 18:22 for 2nd place in the M65-69 division.
