6 Impalas Qualify for Olympic Trials at CIM

Six members of the Impala Racing Team qualified for the Olympic Marathon Trials at last weekend's California International Marathon in Sacramento. They were Madeline Kramer (8th, 2:43:53), Michelle Meyer (10th, 2:43:58), Ashley Carroll (11th, 2:44:06), Megan Daly (14th, 2:44:23), Sarah Lee (21st, 2:44:58), and Rachel Niehuus (22nd, 2:44:58). All ran personal best times. This will be the third Olympic Trials for Daly, who also qualified in 2004 and 2008. The others will all be competing in their first Olympic Trials. The Impalas now have a total of 13 women who have qualified for the event, which will be held in Houston, TX on January 14.
