CALL FOR LDR OFFICIALS

PA/USATF LDR Officials (and Track Officials with an interest in LDR)

The 2013 PA/USATF Cross Country Grand Prix season will begin in a couple of weeks, and there are several important events remaining on our 2013 Road Grand Prix. Here (below) are the upcoming events on both circuits. I've indicated how many officials have volunteered for each event to date. Ideally, we require a crew of four to six officials at each event to ensure a fair race. As you can see, we have critical needs at a number of events. Please let me know ASAP your availability to work these events.

Reminder to Apprentice level LDR Officials: In order to progress to the next officiating level (Association level) you must work as a designated official at a minimum of three Association road races and three Association cross country races during your two-year Apprentice period. Please contact me if you have questions in this regard.

Officials Apparel: Plan ahead before your next race and make sure that your officials uniform is up to date. Click here to go to the PA/USATF Officials Clothing page and order your clothing from our official supplier, NBN Sports. At a minimum, you'll need a logo polo shirt, cap and/or straw hat with hat band, plus khaki slacks or shorts which you can purchase from your favorite department store. And, of course, your USATF officials badge!
