2024 Open Track & Field Grand Prix

Grand Prix Sign Up, Events and Prize Money Info

Double points will be awarded to valid USATF Pacific members (who must have signed up for this Grand Prix in their highest scored event at the PA Open Track & Field Championship. The meet will be held in conjunction with the 64th Annual Golden West Invitational on the weekend of June 1 & 2.

Jestena Mattson

Jestena, a Fresno State alumna with record-setting collegiate performances, is also an Olympian, both at the  Summer Olympics for Heptathlon and at the Winter Olympics on the Bobsled Team. She received a USATF Pacific Foundation training grant in 2021, folllowing exceptional performances in her post collegiate career.

  • Definition of a USATF elite athlete: an athlete who has competed or who has qualified to compete in a USA National Track & Field Championship or U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

RR Jenny Hitchings sets pending Marathon F55 AR in NYC

Jenny Hitchings took advantage of great racing conditions to run a 2:50:36 at the NYC Marathon and break S. Rae Baymiller’s 21 year old F55-59 American Record of 2:52:14. Not only did Hitchings set an age-group AR but achieved an Age-Graded mark of 97.57% which was tops in the race and puts her 7th on the all-time US Women’s Marathon Age-Graded list. An incredible achievement especially considering the hilly New York course. Abdi Abdirahman (first Master, 2nd age-grade) also set a new US M40-44 record of 2:11:34 at age 42....
