About the spectacular, brand new, Reno Indoor Track

The Reno-Sparks world-class, portable, Indoor Track by Mondo USA opened in late 2024.

Specifications:

    • A 12° fixed banked oval with six 42″ wide running lanes including guard rails around both banked turns
    • Eight 48″ wide sprint lanes on the infield for sprints and hurdles, with crash pads for athlete deceleration
    • Two high jumps, two long & triple jumps and two pole vaults on the infield
    • A dedicated shot put & weight throw area with protective jersey barriers and netting system outside the oval
    • Expandable seating for 1,200
    • World Athletics certified T&F equipment by UCS
    • Dedicated Mondo rubber warmup area with eight 48” wide by 55m long lanes
    • 20′ by 71′ (1,420 sq ft) clerking area on Mondo surfacing
    • Mondo rubber access paths connecting the track oval, clerking area and warmup area
    • More than 12,000 square feet of team staging area

The track is located in the Reno-Sparks Convention Center complex (4590 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89502), within minutes of the Reno-Tahoe International Aiport and in close proximity to thousands of hotel rooms, making it easily accessible for groups of all sizes, and a short drive to the world class destination of Lake Tahoe.

At a glance: The Reno Indoor Track & Field Meet Schedule

  • Thursday, December 5, 2024: Reno Indoor Track Opening ceremonies will include a fantastic evening of festivities, possibly with a fun mascot race. details TBA.
  • Friday-Sunday, December 27 to 29, 2024: Reno Holiday Invite; Youth, High School, Open, and Masters athletes; Registration, Meet Info
  • Saturday, Sunday, February 1-2, 2025: Pacific Association Indoor Track & Field Championships for High School, Open, and Masters athletes; registration opens October 1, 2024. Registration; Meet Info.
  • February 15-17, 2025: President’s Invite for Youth, High School, Open, and Masters athletes; registration opens November 1, 2024.

  • Know the entry caps and deadlines; they are unique to each of the Reno indoor meets!
