► MTF Paaso and Davey win Masters 1500s at Oly Trials
Kris Paaso and Neville Davey each took advantage of their opportunities to shine on US Track and Field’s biggest stage, the Olympic Track and Field Trials, to each win their respective Masters 1500m Exhibition races.
Paaso, 45, easily won her race in a brilliantly paced 4:36.34.
Davey, 41, faced much stiffer completion, but still prevailed by running a sub 59 sec final lap, for a time of 3:57:67.

Let’sRun.com has produced a fascinating piece on the battle to earn a spot on the 2012 US Olympic Team in the Women’s 5000m from the perspective of the women who participated in that unforgettable race. The Pacific Association’s own Kim Conley, who nabbed the coveted third spot with an amazing and gutsy finish, was one of the leading protagonists of the story.
