► PA Association Officer Election update
USATF Pacific – Update on Association Officer Elections
At our March BoA meeting the Association officer nominations closed. Four offices received one nomination each, and the following officers were elected by acclimation for a two year term:
President – Dave Shrock (incumbent)
First Vice-President – Irene Herman (incumbent)
Treasurer – Dave Bartholomew
Secretary – J.R. Heberle (incumbent)
The position of Second Vice-President, created primarily to facilitate committees, was approved at the March BoA meeting. Three candidates were nominated and seconded for this office:
Fred Baer
Humberto ‘Al’ Hernandez
Charlotte Sneed
Ballots with short bios will be e-mailed to each BoA member in mid-April, and electronic balloting will close Friday, 15 May. Results will be confirmed and announced at the 19 May BoA meeting in Sacramento. The term for all five officers will be from 1 June 2015 through 31 May 2017.
Association Bylaws which pertain to elections may be found in Article 5.

Committee Elections
All Pacific Committee chairs and positions are up for election this year. Secretary J.R. Heberle will initiate Association committee nominations with subsequent voting beginning in May at the conclusion of the Association officer elections.

The results from Sunday’s hour race are up, along with the lap sheets and judging summary, and the updated grand prix standings (using the new scoring method for the age graded division – updated operating procedures will be available soon).
► YO Mandatory Youth SafeSport Training
By 31 December, 2015 all Youth coaches, administrators, committee members, coaches registry coaches must complete the MANDATORY USOC Safe Sport training. Click here for information
