USATF Pacific has a long history of hosting open track and field competitions at all levels, from local all comers meets to international. There is a USATF Pacific annual championship meet and an annual Grand Prix with prize money for the top performers. Use the links at the right to learn more.
2024 Elite Track & Field Grand Prix
Elite Grand Prix Sign Up, Events and Prize Money Info
Double points will be awarded to valid USATF Pacific members (who must have signed up for this Grand Prix) in their highest scored event at the PA Open Track & Field Championship to be held in conjunction with the 64th Annual Golden West Invitational on the weekend of June 1 & 2. GWI Registration is Open!
2024 USATF Pacific Masters Track & Field GRAND PRIX
Compete against your gender & 5-year age division peers in a series of local track & field meets. This Grand Prix allows all adult athletes, ages 19 to 99, to participate! It’s a great way to train for the 2024 National USATF Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships coming to Sacramento July 18-21.

USATF Pacific thrower Elena Bruckner scored the most points in the 2023 USATF Pacific Open Track & Field Grand Prix.
ClICK HERE to watch a Runnerspace.com video interview with her following her 3rd place performance at the USATF National Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This qualified her to represent TEAM USA at the 2023 World IAAF Championships in Budapest, where she placed 15th in the qualifying round.

2023 USATF National Masters Championships July 20-23, 2023 – Greensboro, NC Congratulations to Joy’s Jack Rabbits TC’s W35-39 4x400m Relays American Record! Joy’s Jackrabbits Track Club’s 35-39 quartet of Christina Trucks, Adjua Gibb-Gabriel, Magdalene Thorne, and Christine Hufenbecher bettered the American record with their 4:10.86 run, cutting nearly seven seconds off of the existing record. From Fran Winitz , Mark’s wife: Mark passed away this past Thursday, June 29, 2023, of kidney failure. He will be buried at Alta Mesa “Redwood Grove” in a mausoleum. Appropriate name as Redwood Marathon was one of his favorites. There will be a private service. USATF News Release – Indianapolis June 26, 2023 USATF MASTERS 1 MILE CHAMPIONSHIPS “Robert Qualls (Reno, Nevada), winner of the 70-74 10 km World Championship at Torun Poland this March, looked to improve on his 2022 second place effort at the 1 Mile Championships. This year Qualls left nothing to chance, going out strong in 2:42 at the halfway point, and holding on for a 5:33, dropping the American record by ten seconds.” Robert Qualls hails from Reno, NV and is a member of the River City Rebels.
