USATF Pacific Open Track & Field

USATF Pacific has a long history of hosting open track and field competitions at all levels, from local all comers meets to international. There is a USATF Pacific annual championship meet and an annual Grand Prix with prize money for the top performers. Use the links at the right to learn more.

2024 Open Track & Field Grand Prix

Grand Prix Sign Up, Events and Prize Money Info

Double points will be awarded to valid USATF Pacific members (who must have signed up for this Grand Prix) in their highest scored event at the PA Open Track & Field Championship to be held in conjunction with the 64th Annual Golden West Invitational on the weekend of June 1 & 2. GWI Registration is Open!

2024 USATF Pacific Masters Track & Field GRAND PRIX

Here is your chance to compete against your gender & 5-year age division peers in a series of local track & field meets. This Grand Prix allows all adult athletes, ages 19 to 99, to participate! It’s a great way to train for the 2024 National USATF Masters Outdoor Track & Field Championships coming to Sacramento July 18-21.

2023 Kleeman OTF Grant Awardees

USATF Pacific thrower Elena Bruckner scored the most points in the 2023 USATF Pacific Open Track & Field Grand Prix.
ClICK HERE to watch a Runnerspace.com video interview with her following her 3rd place performance at the USATF National Outdoor Track & Field Championships. This qualified her to represent TEAM USA at the 2023 World IAAF Championships in Budapest, where she placed 15th in the qualifying round.

► LDR PA LDR Impala member, Nancy Thomas, loses cancer battle.

    The PAUSATF has lost a dear, active member of the LDR community this week. Nancy Thomas passed away Friday morning after a hard fought battle with cancer.  Nancy was an active member of the the PAUSATF LDR Impala Racing team.  She raced every event from the 1 mile to the marathon, track to cross country. She excelled at every distance, but thrived on the cross country circuit. Please see Nancy’s Careingbridge page here. The USATF Pacific Association (PA) Long Distance Running (LDR) committee announces the return of its Mountain, Ultra, Trail (MUT) Grand Prix for the second half of 2021, after a cancellation in 2020 due to the pandemic. This Grand Prix series has run since 1991 and offers both individual and team competitions with awards, race entry discounts and prize money to top scorers at the end of the season.
