Notes from 2015 Tom Moore Classic Youth Meet
There were some outstanding performances at the 10th Annual Tom Moore Youth Classic track and field meet held in honor of Tom Moore, the long time starter for the Modesto relays. There were 21 meet records broken. Ruby Ford (Group 1 girls) of the Full Stride Track Club was selected Outstanding Female athlete after breaking 3 meet records in the 200 (31.80), 800 (2:48.57) and the 400 (1:12.01) in the group 1 girls division. Steven Weaver (Group 2 Boys) of the Phenom Elite team was named the Outstanding Male Athlete after breaking 2 meet records in the 200 (27.81) and the 400 (1:03.61). The Sacramento Speed Factory team earned Outstanding Team honors for the second consecutive year. Photos from the meet can be found at photographers2go.com.
