Three members of the Brooks Fleet Feet Team of Sacramento (Mary Woo, Theresa Brown, and Debbie Zakerski), coached by Randy Sturgeon, with a fourth member from Indiana (Kathleen Shook), sped their way to an American and World Record 4x400 meter time of 4:31.15 at the National Masters Championship Meet at Nampa, Idaho on March 13, 2005. Their splits were: Shook - 1:03.69, Woo - 1:10.26, Brown - 1:10.41, Zakerski - 1:06.63. The previous record of 4:33.14 was set in 2004 by Team USA Boston. |
